Gratitude

​I meet the most amazing people in my work of creating clothes for women.  And, this week was a particular blessing.  A sweet young woman came to me for alterations to her dress for homecoming.  She had arranged someone else to do the work, but at the last minute they were unable to, so with only three days until the dance, she was desperate.  When I got the 9 pm call I was very reluctant because I was already very busy, but who hasn’t been in a similar situation, so I said yes.  I am so grateful I said yes, because this young woman was a sweetheart who appreciated everything I could do for her.  Gratitude and appreciation are such great gifts to receive.  I hope this young woman knows what a blessing she is to those around her.  I, too am grateful for this work of mine that brings me into contact with wonderful, beautiful women.
