Beauty

I have special powers. Yes, I am a pretty good designer and pattern maker and a decent seamstress, but those are not my special powers.  I have figured out how to sew magic into clothes so that when you put them on you feel how beautiful you are.   You might be shy about expressing it, but you will feel it.  I don't know why I have this unique power, but I believe it has been given to me to help contradict the nonsense that we have been taught about our bodies and our appearance. about how we should feel about our bodies and our appearance.  Nonsense that defines beauty in very narrow parameters.  This nonsense has put us at war with our selves.  We are conflicted even about our right to feel beautiful - isn't that vain? we ask ourselves.  Look around at the intentional beauty in God's creations - could He have intended less for you?  I don't think so, and I am willing to believe that all of His daughters have beauty. Sometimes we need help believing that we are lovely, that's where my special powers can help.  I am here for you, willing to do my part in helping you to be your gorgeous self.
