Hi, I’m Deborah Ewer—designer, dressmaker, and lifelong lover of beautiful clothing. I create garments that do more than fit the body; they honor it, celebrate it, and help women feel truly beautiful.
My love for sewing began quietly, years ago, when my mother signed me up for a 4-H sewing class. I wasn’t especially skilled or patient at first, but something in the rhythm of fabric and thread spoke to me. That early spark grew with time and curiosity, eventually leading me to study Clothing and Textiles in college. There, I discovered patternmaking and design—creative languages that felt both technical and deeply expressive, and that completely captured my heart.
After working in the fashion industry in a variety of roles, I stepped away for a season to raise my family. Still, the desire to create never left me. It waited, patiently, until I returned to the work I love. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of designing and sewing custom garments for women near and far. Many of my clients live in other towns or states, and I’ve learned that with clear communication, thoughtful planning, and care, beautiful fit can happen across any distance.
Whether I’m sewing a dress from bright, joyful fabric or gently solving the puzzle of fit for a unique body, I pour my heart into every stitch. I understand the quiet disappointment of clothes that almost fit—a neckline that feels too low, sleeves that pinch, a waist that never quite lands where it should. That’s why I believe every woman deserves clothing made just for her—pieces that reflect her spirit and feel wonderful every time she slips them on.
Creating beautiful, well-fitting clothing is my joy, my challenge, and my calling. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share this work with the women I dress, and to create garments that bring ease, confidence, and a little extra beauty into everyday life.
